Fall In My Town

The path I take most often.  It winds back through Stanbery Park,  which is in walking distance from my home.  We call it the jewel of my community.  One hundred twenty five acres of undeveloped land.  I am always happy when we walk this way.  Lee can tell I am happy because my tail wags the entire time I am on the path.

The path circles around or you can drop down into the woods and follow a dirt path around the creek that circles through the park.
The leaves are beautiful.  On our walks we think of you and pictures you have showed us of your walks.  We wished this season lasted longer.
This clock in the hillside tells perfect time.  The flowers change with the season.  Well the clock is telling me it is time to go.

  12. Lovely walk Sweet William, the trees are looking beautiful and the whole scene was no doubt much enhanced by your tail wagging presence. Parks in cities are always to be treasured.

  13. Sweet William that is one cool park. Gosh and it is large. Wow you must love it. My park is quite big but has lots of roads cutting through it. I am OK though as I hunt in my little wood or as I say Terrorizing Me Territories. Have a terrific Tuesday.
    Best wishes Molly

  17. Hey Sweet William!
Wow, what a pretty place for a nice walkie! I bet Lee is smiling the whole time you are wagging. :) Those leaves and flowers are gorgeous and I'm so glad I got to come on this walkie with you.

  19. I keep waiting for the cactus to turn. The few deciduous trees that some peeps planted are confused. They turn color in January, after the days start lengthening again. It's beautiful, but I don't want Him to strain Himself raking leaves.

  20. Oh William, we can see how happy you are with that happy jaunt to your walk. That is a gorgeous place to walk. So gorgeous that we think it'll be beautiful no matter the season--though those Autumn colours are hard to beat.

  24. SW, we always love your posts - we feel as if we know your town, you are so good at explaining it and showing us photographs. And the fall looks amazing - we are coming into Summer 'Down Under' when everything becomes dry and brown so it was lovely to see all those amazing colours. And I bet it's just the best fun to walk in, all those leaves!
