Window Shopping

Oh my there is a person inside watching Lee take the picture!
Well Lee did more than window shop she bought the chair.  Then she went and got paint chips so she could paint an old piece of furniture she has that looks similar that exact yellow.  Lee then will distress the furniture and apply wax to age it more.
Lee always has trouble picking lamps.  Lee only likes old odd lamps.
The tulips painted on the window look so cheerful and bright.
In the shop everything is artisan and somewhat 'girly' in it's fashion.
We are going in.
Lee gets her sketching pens here.
Not that big though!
They had these cool graphite pens so she stocked up.
Lee finished painting this on an old secretary that had a bad scar on the wood that needed to be disguised.  You would never know how badly damaged it was with wood filler, sanding and painting all looks pretty again.
Maybe the piece she is going to paint yellow might get flowers also.

Lee is starting her sketch for this years totes. Lee gave three full totes away last year in her Name That Song Contest.  Lee has not decided if the lady will wear pants or a skirt.  Should the lady be walking a Scottie or an Airedale Terrier?  Scottie I say.
It is my job to just sit and watch while Lee paints and draws.  Boring!

Lee is always sad this time of year.  Her beloved scottie, Half Pence, was born in April and had to go to the bridge nine days before his birthday.  Maybe some day she will tell you how very special her Half Penny was and about the bond they shared and still have.  Not even death could break their bond.

Thanks for being a friend

  8. Perhaps Lee might consider a wire haired fox terrier for her lady's walking companion.
    Just saying...

  19. Lee is very talented! Holy cow! I think the lady should be wearing a Scottie. Seriously, an Airedale? We hope Lee is ok - it's hard remembering our loves. After all, no one will love you like a dog loves you.
