I Voted ~ Did You?

I did not even get combed this morning. Lee put her furs in a messy bun and no makeup.
Lee and I were out the door to VOTE.  The line was long and the wait time took forever but Lee hung in there.

Thanks for being a friend

    1. Voters in Greater Cincinnati encountered long lines and a few technical glitches as they cast ballots Tuesday morning. Election officials said voters and poll workers were confused by a change in the voting machine system that now alerts voters if they have "undervoted," or left some races on their ballots blank. Electronic voting machines reportedly rejected some ballots that had not been completely filled out. What a wait!!!!

am just watching our news now about the queues and how good it is that Americans are truly using their right to vote. Will go to sleep now and find out tomorrow just what all those Americans used that vote for! YAM xx

  3. Our mom cast her votes today. She said at her poling place in the afternoon there were no lines.

  4. Our Mom and Dad voted early to avoid the lines and to be sure nothing came up today to prevent it. They think there will be a big turnout. We didn't get a button or even a sticker, like you, Sweet Wil. Lucy and Xena

  11. Hi Sweet William. Sorry about not replying to your post. For some reason I get locked out but Mom found that her office computer will let her in. Just wanted to say YES we voted and to have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.

    1. Hi Bentley ~ I have no understanding why you get locked out, why I would never lock the door on you my friend. Pray all is well with you and that you have great foodables for Thanksgiving.

    2. Sweet William it's the blog controller that keeps me out. It works from the computer at work but not home. Keep safe and watch the dog show as see us Scotties win.

    3. Work not nice doing that ~ but working buys the treats. Maybe someone should pull the plug on the blog controller and tell it happy employees are more productive employees.

    1. Yep you better believe when I ride in a car I am either seat belted in or I am in a crate ~ I am not going to be a flying projectile in a car accident. Lee keeps me safe in a car. This Thanksgiving it is just Lee and me I have seen no evidence of holiday food.

    2. I thought that you would have your own seat belt. apparently the Bassets and Dandies had crates when in the car. Well wills you will need to get onto the holiday food thing. We are not in to holiday things in this household but apparently having the neighbour in for Christmas lunch. She is really on her own. I have already bashed the pup up and the new cat she has just acquired has also been put in his place. This is my garden and my wallabies. Do have a nice and safe Thanksgiving

    3. I ride long rides out of the crate hooked in with a seat belt so I can see the scenery. My crate is always in the car. The crate is fastened to a seat belt so if it is a short ride I just hop up into the crate and off we go. Pea you gots to be nice to your new roomies why it's nice to be important like you are but it's more important to be nice. Is that the neighbor who walks down the street all dressed up and gossips that is coming over for Christmas lunch? Well then you have my O.K. on bashing the crap on that one.

    4. The neighbour on the other side. Mums looks after the chickens ( we call them the girls ) when she goes away but she is a bit of a gossip as well and my peoples do not want to know everyones business. Always there if needed but like privacy. The cat next door likes to stalk birdies and my magpie friends and I do not like that. He needs to learn manners and the pup needs to stop yapping. My old wallaby was quite ill for a few days but knew he was safe here. We gave him food and water and he is up and about again and visits and comes really close to the house. I don't like to see any other animals or birdies hurt. I see it as my duty to be the enforcer. Happy Thanksgiving you two and wills I am going to email you
      hugs pea
