Gro...Geneology is furry interesting sleuthing work!<br />Growlmy's uncle searched in Europe for his father's family...that would be growlmy's 'Opa'. Traced it back to the early 1600's and then some bits and pieces way back to the 12oo's...wow.<br /><br />Her other Opa got traced by a cousin of his...similar results. But it ran into trouble after the fact that one churches records got ruined in a fire... <br /><br />Here in the USA, pawpy;s uncle did some of that tracing work, too. His family came from an island off of Denmark, they were ship builders. They came to this country in the early 1800's. America, butts got stuck in Cuba. Surprise there were no records from there.
