I showed you this interactive water display in Washington Park last week. But I, Sweet William The Scot, did not really come down to see the new park. I had to transgress the park from where Lee parked the car to get to the building you see across the cobblestone street.
Yep that is Music Hall. A beautiful Gothic Revival building, constructed in 1878.
Made it across the street!
Always look both ways.
I rested right inside the doors while Lee got the pictures.
There was something to see in the lobby.
More than 100,000 LEGO bricks to build a replica of Music Hall.
The hardest part building was the large rose window and arch work above.
1,350 individual clear LEGO window panels.
More than 10,000 transparent blue dots that make up the Miami-Erie canal which use to be behind Music Hall in the late 1800's
960 seats.
The LEGO ceiling looks like the real ceiling
7.5 months to build.
Builder of this 1/50 scale model is Mark Clark.
Model is 100 inches wide by 196 inches deep by 42 inches high.
Now some small detail shots.
Oh did I tell you Music Hall has a reputation as one of the most haunted sites in the city.
I want to show you something that just had me jumping for joy.
I could watch, but I was not allowed in that area, I am a DOG if you have not noticed.
Uh Oh something is starting to gurgle!
I wanted to chase the jets.
Inside Washington Park in the inter city of Cincinnati sits a new fountain.
Oh No the Lights came on!
Watch Out!
The Music has started!
A state-of-the-art, 7,000 square foot interactive water display!
The water feature consists of more than 130 pop up jets that can be synchronized to music and lights.
WOOHOO.
Well since I did not get to play in the water, Lee took me down to the marina. I got to go on a lovely Walkaround Boat on the Ohio River but Lee unfortunately left the camera in the car.
O.K. I know you have been waiting patiently for me to announce the winners of
We will be back next week with the winners of our A Pug With A Plan Contest. But for now I am telling you about a contest that my friend Mollie & Alfie are having. It is a Logo Contest for their shop. So become a bee and buzz over to their blog and find out all about their contest. Oh here is my entry!
Lee belongs to a bookclub that is lead by Queen Janeen Coyle. Why she is the Morning Radio Queen here in Cincinnati. Janeen is on 103.5 WGRR every weekday morning. Why she host Frank's Friends on Wednesday mornings to introduce an animal that’s available for adoption that day at noon. The segment also features the latest news from SPCA Cincinnati and helpful tips for pet owners. Janeen's featured pets have a 100% adoption rate.
Janeen does a lot of good work for our community and beyond.
See even when Flat George was in town she took him to eat at Montgomery Inn.
Well when Janeen started the bookclub she decided she would write a book.
This is her first book A Pug With A Plan.
It is a short story about Frank and how he helped the whole family find Tank.
We have all had beloved pets go to the Rainbow Bridge.
It is a true little story of her familys love and loss of their dear pet. The story of Tank and Frank enables children to learn about the circle of life.
Well I, Sweet William The Scot, think this is a great story to read to your children, or sit and listen to them read the story.
You must leave a comment telling Janeen why you want to read her book.
Janeen will read your comments and pick one winner.
Janeen will autograph it especially for the winner, how you want it to read so it can be personalized to a grandchild or you or your dog.
Lee has the second book, which is my book, but I will do a drawing for my book.
We in our home believe books are for sharing, so even though it is autographed to me, I will give it to whoevers name I draw.
Now here is a word from the Author herself being interviewed on the news ~ with pictures of her and her family and Frank and Tank.
To turn off my music so you can hear the video go down to the bottom and hit the round circle on my music player. If you want my music back you're going to have to hit the circle again!
This home always has lovely wreaths on their gate.
We have started walking again. So I, Sweet William The Scot, thought you might like to see some of the sights in my neighborhood.
These bottle sculptures were sold by a dealer at a big arts show we have in Cincinnati every Spring. It isSummerfair! Lee volunteers and has entered thePoster Contest. Lee has had her posters in the top five but never a winner.
Mr. Hippity Hoppity, we have a lot of bunnies in the hood.
This home always has the most pretty old fashion flowers, the phlox and black eyed susans.
Butterflies sure do love the phlox.
I love to walk this street it is a very quiet street.
Lee loves to see artistic pieces entered into the landscape. We have a green chair sitting in our fern bed with white petunias sitting in a pot on the chair.
A lot of people have added benches to their landscapes, which we enjoy a lot lately. We rest on our walks now. Can you see the other dog in the picture? He never barks at me, he is a good dog!
We could hear thunder and it started to drizzle. We got a little damp, but look at the beautiful double rainbow we saw.

KylaScott rewrote my bio for me “I’m a Scottish Terrier who was abandoned by Les Nussman–the weatherman at a local radio station (WKRP) and rescued by wonderful Lee. I’m into old music and contests. By day, I work as a tour guide for the world, showing the visitors greater Cincinnati, Ohio.
