SELFIE

Lookie what I, Sweet William The Scot, did.
I did a Selfie!
Yep Lee sat the camera down and went to get my scarf and I took a selfie.
A selfie is a type of self-portrait photograph, typically taken with a hand-held digital camera or camera phone. Selfies are often associated with social networking.
Oh dogs I am social networking, I am in the groove.
We found another treasure.
We were walking last Wednesday, the temperature was above 30 degrees.
Every other Wednesday is Recycle Day in Cincinnati.  Well I wanted to stop and leave a little pee mail on a recycle container but Lee looked and started to stop me when she noticed in amongst
glass bottles was this Airedale Vase.  Well at first Lee thought it was a vase but it might have a rim on top like it had a stopper or plug to seal a bottle opening. It does not have a chip or crack. The markings show it to be 1909. There are over 12,000 antiques marks.  Did you know that?  It is so pretty.  We are such a throw away society.
If anyone has seen one and knows what it is let us know.  Okie Dokie.
Oh I bet Mitch and Molly or Ruby would love my find.
Oh Lee says to tell you we have not dumpster dived yet but we have not ruled it out.

Mariemont Concourse

Well the calendar says Spring is here but I,
Sweet William The Scot, don't believe the calendar.
So I told Lee lets look at some of the pictures from last summer and put them up today.
These pictures were taken last August.
I showed you my Graeter's Ice Cream Parlor in Mariemont in 2012.
Well sometimes in the summer we pack a lunch and go over to a bluff in Mariemont that overlooks the Little Miami River just before it joins the Ohio River.
The road along this bluff is called Miami Bluff.
Towards the eastern end of the bluff is located what is known as the Mariemont Concourse.
It is a park that contains a stone trellis overlooking the Little Miami River and the view beyond with built-in benches where one can sit.
There is also a beautiful landscaped garden.
The hill in the distance is the one I live on.
A storm was moving in so the view was not great.
Okie Dokie if we walk a couple of blocks to the right I know we are going for Ice Cream and if we go a couple of blocks to the left we are going to here a Carillon Concert.
The carillonneur performs on a keyboard connected to 49 bells inside the Bell Tower.
I will show you that at another time.
I always hope we will walk to the right.

Knickers Knickers

Oh Easy and Mollie how could you betray a fellow dog like this??
Me a dignified Scot having to wear Lee's camisole and panties.
Humiliation  Mortification  Derogation of it all.

You  happy?
I wonder if these were clean when Lee put them on me.
Believe me when I, Sweet William The Scot, say you are going to pay for this.
Lee find me some new friends!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I, Sweet William The Scot, am thinking!

I don't think I should have drank that green beer!
That darn notorious mischief causing Leprechaun is hammering away in my head.
Well if you followed the Dogtona Race over at Rangers you know I lost.  Seems like no one knows how to fix my tire, not even Sidebite.  I might have lost the race but I have great friends in Bentley and Gailen, my Pit Crew, and Sidebite the tire expert.

Happy Birthday Ranger and Stuart

March 15th is
Ranger, The Adventures of Ranger ~ The Scottie Pup and
Stuart, The Scottie Chronicles BIRTHDAYS!
They are having The Dogtona Race.  So I, Sweet William The Scot, decided I needed a Pit Crew Team.
I recruited Bentley and his bro, Gailen for the race.  I am in the Scottie Mobile. Kyla over at kylascott paid for our license and registration into the race.
Does this lane have an exit??

OH NO NO NO!

Pray that tire holds!
Amen
Amen
The tire, the tire!
We are losing the tire.
Maybe Sidebite can fix it for us.
The finish line is just ahead!

PUSH Gailen
PUSH Bentley
WE CAN MAKE THE FINISH LINE!

Check over at Ranger's Blog to see if we win on the 15th and remember to wish them a Happy Birthday!

These two Scots are my friends Bentley and Gailen.  Why Bentley leaves a lot of comments all over Blogville.  They don't have a blog of their own.  But they were more than happy to be part of my Pit Crew for the Dogtona Race.
We all are wishing
HAPPEE BIRTHDAY to STUART AND RANGER

Art To Go

Well my Lee told me we were going to spring forward on Sunday.  But she lied, nothing changed!
I am still waiting for Spring.  While I, Sweet William The Scot am waiting, I thought I would show you a couple of pictures taken last summer.
This reproduction of a famous painting appeared by Krohn Conservatory.
This one was up in  Woodland Mound Park.
Why this one was on a bus that we ride sometimes.
Pierre Courtey’s Portrait de Pierre de Ronsard
I told you my Cincinnati or Cincy or Nati was an artsy fartsy town.
Taft Museum of Art partnered with community arts centers, businesses, and other organizations across the region to launch the ART FOR ALL program in celebration of its 80th anniversary.
Modeled after successful programs launched by the Tate Gallery in London and the Detroit Institute of Arts.
Other pieces of art, eighty in all, can be found at locations including Cincinnati Zoo, Devou Park, Cincinnati and the Northern Kentucky International Airport.
