The Chronicles of Wallace and Samuel's Package

In the package was the latest Sunflower Bandana.  This is the third year they sent us a bandana.
The Sunflower Fund Save a Little Save a Life.  They raise money for the bone marrow registry.
This is a cause near and dear to my Lee's heart.
Why the box was full of things that my Lee loves.  Lee drinks a lot of tea and they sent her
Rooibos African Red Bush Tea and Rooibos & Honeybush Tea.
Now we have tried the Rooibos & Honeybush Tea and let me tell you oh it had a great mellow full flavored and just a mildly sweet taste and the aroma smelled like a really deep tea.
ENJOYMENT!
There were cork magnets shaped like their country, heart & star and the little scottie.  See the pretty card, they wrote us a lovely note.

Look into my eyes.  Consider registering as a bone marrow donor save a life.
Thank You Wallace and Samuel you dogs are the bestest of friends.

We Got Mail and more of our Cards

I, Sweet William The Scot, told Lee I needed her to put up a post.
Lee has been working on rehab.  Lee goes Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.  Lee does not need a walker any longer.  But when they use the laymen's term inner ear stroke, well Lee says her balance has definitely had a stroke.
Lee got all these cards from our dear friend Bentley.  He does not have his own blog, but he sure leaves us all comments.
Why the Florida Furkids were like the first to e-mail us and send us a nice card.
Diana and Addi sent Lee a lovely card.  See the black and red scottie in the background, well that was a present from Jazzi and Diana a few years ago.
Oh now these cards are from Sarge and Frankie & Ernie.
They live with the greatest people you would ever meet.  Believe this dog because I met them in the furs.
Both of these cards had wonderful notes inside.
Angus offered to send us whatever we needed.
Now getting a card from Bertie all the way from Aberdeen and that he took the time to paw Lee a lovely note, well that just touched our hearts.
Greta Angel sent me this pin the week Lee collapsed.  And then we got the lovely card from them.
Thanks everybody for sending the cards, they sure did cheer my Lee.
Now I got MAIL!
LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THIS PACKAGE.
Look who sent the package and the long way it traveled from South Africa.
I am going to tease you and make you wait till next time to see what's in the box.
“If thou of fortune be bereft,
and in thy store there be but left
two loaves, sell one, and with the
dole, buy hyacinths to feed thy soul.”

Lee plants bulbs in pots, buries them in the holes where she digs the cannas bulbs out of for the winter and then this time of year we bring them in so we have hyacinths over several months.
The poem has always been a favorite of Lees.
