End of Summer

Welcome to my porch this year.
My big Begonia pot this year.
The rail box had colorful Lantana, two shades of Angelonia and  Ornamental Potato Vine.

Just one of our many flower beds.
Seems this was a season for multiple ears of corn on the same shank.
It's called the MESS Syndrome!
Some genetic backgrounds are more prone to this type of multiple ear development and that certain growing conditions encourage the MESS Syndrome with these hybrids.
2006 was the first rash of the odd ears reported in Indiana and Illinois.
I like the side corn ears because Lee lets me eat them.
They are the right size for me.

What have you noticed odd/MESS happening with our goofy weather?

Thanks for being a friend
Traveling down the road and back again
Your heart is true and your a friend of mine
