Art To Go

Well my Lee told me we were going to spring forward on Sunday.  But she lied, nothing changed!
I am still waiting for Spring.  While I, Sweet William The Scot am waiting, I thought I would show you a couple of pictures taken last summer.
This reproduction of a famous painting appeared by Krohn Conservatory.
This one was up in  Woodland Mound Park.
Why this one was on a bus that we ride sometimes.
Pierre Courtey’s Portrait de Pierre de Ronsard
I told you my Cincinnati or Cincy or Nati was an artsy fartsy town.
Taft Museum of Art partnered with community arts centers, businesses, and other organizations across the region to launch the ART FOR ALL program in celebration of its 80th anniversary.
Modeled after successful programs launched by the Tate Gallery in London and the Detroit Institute of Arts.
Other pieces of art, eighty in all, can be found at locations including Cincinnati Zoo, Devou Park, Cincinnati and the Northern Kentucky International Airport.

    1. When I was looking at the pictures from last summer I realized I had not posted them. I think the harsh winter has killed out a lot of my phlox.

  15. The cold and snow has done a lot of damage here also. So many evergreens have browning on leaves from cold and wind. Some of the buds on trees came out then the cold came back and they are on the ground now.

  16. I like the idea of Art For All, so we dogs can enjoy it too! I'm sure spring will come soon to you, imagine, we had no rain for two days (that's nearly a record for my area), so I think Miss Spring is on her way around the world.

  20. Ding-ding-a-ding-dong...why, Sir William, you have art all over your town. I prefer the arts that have that great looking Scottie in front of them in the photos. That Scottie is quite handsome...could it possibly be YOU? BOL I do apologize that I have not been around much. Ma has been a busy bee and has surely forgotten about me and my blogging. *sigh*
Happy Sunday, my dear Scottish pal! St. Paddy's is tomorrow...we should celebrate with some Scottish whiskey!
