I Don't Remember

I, Sweet William The Scot, had a bad day!
I remember I went to the vet to get a core biopsy yesterday.
But then the lights went out.
They called Lee and told her not to pick me up till later because it was taken me a long time to wake up.  Lee had to come and talk to me to get me to wake up.

Now I am falling over and still in a stupor.  Why I even wet myself in my own bed.
Lee cleaned me up and my bed is in the wash.
My eyebrows are all stuck even though Lee has washed my face a dozen times.
Finally it got a little better because I got a little food and water.
I'm Drugged Man!
My ophthalmology examine was fine.
My blood work was perfect.
My basic endocrine panel looks good.
Now we wait ten days for the biopsy to see if it tells us why my Melanocytes which secrete a pigment called melanin which is responsible for giving my skin its color has stopped working.  Melanocytes main function though is to shield the nuclei of the keratinocytes (the main cells of the epidermis) and protect them from ultraviolet radiation from the sun.

We might never get an answer and I might become nothing but polka dots.
Perfectly round white dots!
They have never seen perfectly round white dots before.

Thanks for being a friend

  1. Hi Sweet William, dearest Sweet William, Gail and I are so relieved to hear from you. So sorry about your bad day at the vets. We do hope they can come up with some good treatment for this melanocytes problem. Maybe you will have to put on factor 50 sunscreen? Or wear protective clothing? Are polka dots in fashion just now? Perhaps you could come and live in your ancestral homeland, Scotland? (Believe me, there are no UV rays here just at the moment...)
Anyway, for the moment, we are sending big hugs to you and to Lee, while you wait for the biopsy results.
    Toodle pip!
