This is where my Lee went to public elementary school.
Lee could walk to elementary school.
It is a big school. Two stories of class rooms.
This is the back of the elementary school. It has three wings.
When we walk by, I stop and watch the children play.
This is the bridge going into the public High School where my Lee went.
Lee took public transportation or biked to this school which was eight miles from her home.
It is the biggest High School in Cincinnati.
In Lee's graduating class there were over 1,700 students.
This is the back of the High School and the track football field.
This school has three and a half floors with classes in the basement also.
This is where my Lee went University. Scholarships and Lee working paid for her education. It is fourteen miles from her home and Lee had to take two buses to get to school. One bus took her to downtown Cincinnati then another to the University.
The inner campus.
The beautiful library with its glass dome.
Yep it is the University of Cincinnati.
Wisdom is The Principal Thing
Therefore Get Wisdom.
That Proverb is engraved on McMicken Hall. Lee read that every day.
Lee always wished they had finished 4:7 and with all thy getting get understanding.
Lee was always changing schools. I don't understand why. Maybe it is because she is a mess.
Yep Lee said she was a mensa.
Now this was my school. I never needed to change schools. They loved me. I never made a mess.
Lee drove me to my school.
Lee paid for my education.
Lee paid for my education.
My blackboard. Every week they put my homework in the orange slots.
My teacher, Mr. Kodiak. Mr. Kodiak demanded respect. No spit balls in his class!
Lee says I have to say Kodiak was the trainer's dog, but Lee is wrong. Mr. Kodiak instructed the class.
The Chronicles of Wallace and Samuel gave us the Sunshine Award also last week. Thank You Wally and Sammy we hope we bring sunshine.

Pees; Lee you had some very beautiful schools to go to, Dad says most of his were old and looked like it!
Thanks for inviting me to a cool trip. I'm sure Mr. Kodiak was a very good teacher. I'm a homeschooled pup, but currently I manage a distance learning at Dogwarts. Have a funny school-day :o)
ReplyDeleteOscar Robertson was way before Lee's time at U of the Nati. He would show you pictures of His elementary school, but it was demolished because He didn't turn out so well so it was deemed useless.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place you live in. We liked the library with the glass dome. Mr Kodiak taught you well Sweet William. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeletebest wishes Molly
Wow, what nice school buildings! I bet Lee was a very good student, just like you were in your school. I'm sure those school children like seeing you watching them through the fence. :)
ReplyDeleteGrr and Woof,

Wow, ose schools your Lee attended are all so grand! I like your school too. I hear they have tasty treats there!
ReplyDeleteThat is some fancy schools but we like your best of all :)
ReplyDeleteOMD Sw. Wm... YOU and I BOTH attended PetSmart University and Stuffie Distributorship??? Wonder why we never met at class? Maybe I attended a different Camp Out Us or somethingy.
ReplyDeleteOMD Miss Lee went to some gorgeous school buildings.. Our mom says they don't build 'em like they USED to.
PeeS... in Mom's H.S. grad class there were 100 students... fur the furst time EVER.
Hey there!!! You are I went to the same school but well truth be told, I wasn't very good and ofter asked to leave class for being well, bad! Can you imagine. I tried, I really did but well school just didn't agree with me. Rather learn it on my own in my own time and right now, if I don't mind saying, I'm rather well trained...well almost!!
ReplyDeleteWe never went to school. We're home schooled...or unschooled...or something. But SHE went to schools that just looked like boxes..nothing so grand as Lee's.
ReplyDeleteWe don't think you're being very respectful in that last photo--sticking out your tongue.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
What a great rip you just took us on. I was in school for two classes. I never did graduate cuz MOM pulled me out of school. Something about the teacher and all she did was talk about her show dogs. I think it would have been better if I had a teacher like Kodiak.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Goose
What a beautiful school indeed!! We would prefer the school of Petsmart though
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Lee's high school is aroootiful!! WOW!! Mom had to laugh because her matric / graduating class had a total of 19! *BOL*

We had no clue that we had blogger friends so very close to us until Amber and her family stopped by during their trip north. We are just down I-75 from you (quite literally... we are just 2 miles off one of the 75 exits)
ReplyDeleteSo we wanted to say HI!!!

Wow Sweet William that Mr. Kodiak looks strict! I guess you are well educated. Lee's schools look really nice. My class only had 88 at graduation. How many in your class SWTS? I bet you were top dog!
ReplyDeleteJO
Ding-a-ling-a-ling. Is this thing working? Yes? Then answer it!!!.....*ahem*....Hello Sir William. Now I know why you are so brilliant. Look at that great school you went to and oh, what a stern looking professor. I did not attend school and though I can be pretty smart, I sometimes lose my senses when I see say, a bunny. I guess I could've used school after all. They say it is never too late to go back so maybe I should consider such.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Oz
All three schools that Lee went to look very nice. Unfortunately I flunked out. Of Petsmart University. You must be very smart, my friend
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
