I, Sweet William The Scot, want to tell you about something that happens in Downtown Cincinnati.
Tickets for Lumenocity go within minutes and I am serious.
Due to the crowds the first time around (35,000 people in two days), the civic lawn is ticketed though still completely free.
Well I told you about Music Hall in another post.
You take a blanket and picnic basket and sit in Washington Park across the street, here in this picture.
THEN
The show will begin with Cincinnati Pops performance conducted by John Morris Russell.
After intermission, Louis Langrée will take the stage to lead the CSO as Music Hall becomes a canvas for digital animations choreographed to the music and designed specifically to fit the facade, crafted this year by local creative design and production company Brave Berlin.
The two pictures we took are really bad! Lee does not have a camera that takes night pictures.
Lee says we cannot afford a good camera. We just have a Nikon Coolpix.
A friend of ours did this video. I hope you enjoy Lumenocity as much as we do.

There are Owls, Fish, Frogs, Bats, Ladybugs, a Wild Woodpecker, Tigers, Rabbits, Deer and in the second half which is not shown hugh Human Dancers.
While all this is going on I, Sweet William The Scot, curl up on our blanket as tight as I can next to Lee's hip and sleep.

As you all know Jazzi was my gal, my Scottish lassie. Ever since I have been in Blogville we were a team. My first ever post January 18, 2012 was asking Jazzi to the Valentine Dance. Jazzi accepted to my surprise and dated a newcomer. We went to every Blogville Event together.
My heart is broken for Jazzi took a big part of it with her.
I cannot say and I will not say
That Jazzi is dead, she is just away.
With a cheery smile and a wave of the paw
She has just wandered afar
Our last post together had the song
"All God's Creatures got a place in the choir"
Jazzi has found her place in The Scotty Choir.
Our song is ended, but the melody lingers on for me.

We were so sorry also when we read about sweet jazzi yesterday, we thought of your right away and that just made our heart hurt even more. We agree with you about the melody lingering, we think how you said that is just beautiful. Mom says she often feels Sammer and Trudie right beside her at the moments she needs them the most, we think you will feel jazzi also.

ReplyDeleteThe big red bird is a male Cardinal. There was an Alexander Borodin theme running through the music. When I heard about Jaz, I immediately thought about you. It appears that you're holding up OK and I'm happy about that.
ReplyDeleteNot really OK ~ felt like hanging a sign up saying I am crying in my pillow and gone fishing. I had the Lumenocity Post in the can but was not going to use it till next. It seemed to fit with what I had to say about Jazzi.

I enjoyed the video very much. Mom and I have never seen anything like that. Boy those woodpeckers will give me nightmares for awhile. I an very sorry and have a heavy heart about Jazzi. Can not believe how fast life changes for so many. I have not followed the blogs for very long, but I feel like your pups and you are apart of my life so it does hurt very much to read about the loss of a very special Scottie. Thank you for your lovey words and thoughts that you share all the time.

OMD Sweet William.... the Beautiful LIGHT SHOW coupled with the Fabulous Music is JUST what we all needed to see today... It serves to REMIND us that our beloved JAZZI is in a place with LIGHT and MUSIC and TACOs and LOVE.
ReplyDeleteWe look at this post as a glorious TRIBUTE to her LIFE. THANK YOU fur sharing it... We have Watched and Listened to the show TWICE from beginning to End. It is OUTSTANDING. Love the tiger and the fish and the flamingos and other birds and even BUGS.
We hope that all of Blogville will come together to CELEBRATE Jazzi's Beloved TACO... in October.
We still can't believe that Jazzi is gone. She was still so young and was taken way too soon.

Sweet William this is a fantastic memorial post to your most wonderful friend. Those we love aren't truly gone, they live on in our hearts and our memories. I tell my sweet Oskar every night "I will see you soon" because I will whether it be in my dreams or on the day he sings me home to him.
