Farmers Market at Hyde Park Square
Sunday morning and Lee said Sweet William The Scot grab your leash an lets go to the Farmers Market. I grabbed my leash and was waiting by the car as Lee locked up.
After we find something to eat we will sit and listen to a friend play his guitar.
It is early and lots of people and dogs are already here.
Why that is one big Doberman Pinscher. Hope he does not beat me to what I want to get.
This booth has sweet fresh ginger and Lee always gets ginger.
Why she loves to make ginger tea.
Flowers, Lee I think we have enough of them at home.
Oh I know Lee will buy fresh Focaccia bread here.
Oh they have fruit pies and breakfast fruit pizzas today, yum.
Can you read the mans tee shirt? It says "Friends don't let friends walk alone" with a cartoon dog. He had his dog.
I want a pumpkin for Halloween Lee.
We left without eating breakfast. Lee decided to buy us a fresh egg sandwich with cheese, tomatoes and kale. And we had spearmint fresh ice tea. Why this man can flip his skillet like Gordon Ramsay.
Everything he uses he buys here so you know it is fresh. He toast the bread in another skillet.
Why I thought they were Lassie and Benji.
The dried herbs and lavender smell great.
Why here is tiny guy.
Jams and jellies. Homemade noodles of all flavors.
Will you be my friend. You sort of look like me. I want to be everyone's friend and I am so submissive. Look deep into my eyes and tell me why I have to wear a Halti.
Fresh green beans, radishes, beets, turnips, lettuce.
Why these dogs are enjoying the day at the Farmers Market.
Well we got fresh corn, butternut squash, tomato Focaccia bread and more.
I asked Lee if I could have some money for fresh dog treats and she said yes.
Lee always gives me money.
Boy I was a lucky dog and I sure enjoyed my morning.
Thanks for being a friend

that was great to visit your farmers market with you :o) I think it's a great idea to buy ginger for tea... in winter you can sit in your warm nest with tea and cookies and you can enjoy all the events of that market again while dreaming of the next market in next year :o)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, you got a ton of goodies!!
ReplyDeleteLee needs to get her priorities straight. All those foodables and she's thinking about FLOWERS??????
ReplyDeleteLee got treats and Sweet William got treats and they were all fresh. So many pups at the market to make new friends with. Can't wait to see what Wally and Sammy sent to you.

Sweet William, that is the best ever Farmers Market, with all the delicious foodables and so many doggy friends to meet. You are one lucky guy, for sure.

What a wonderfur market you have there! All the bounty of the earth there to savor and be satisfied.
ReplyDeleteYou wear a Halti, too? I hate that thing, but growlmy insists I wear it each time we go for walkies.....though she doesn't think I am that submissive, BOL! I am furendly though...most of the time...one on one being the best...too many strangers (Pups and peeps) make me nervous.
I bet the sniffs at that market are most glorious for your schnooter to indulge in.
That bread looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteAnd look at the friends you made!!
Your farmers market looks like a wonderful place to go. I went on a walkie yesterday and Mom says I was very well behaved. I barked just a little at first but then Mom made sure I practice my CGC stuff
