Yep the Ohio River reached 60 feet this morning. The highest point since 1997.
Roads are closed all over Nati City and they just closed my ramp off the Interstate so Lee has to drive past our community to the next ramp and backtrack home.

ReplyDeleteOooooo you are having flooding! We're just hoping for a little rain...we don't want that much. Keep dry.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Sweet William, do make sure you and Lee stay safe.

ReplyDeleteOMD William the Sweet... I recall seeing all sorts of flood history stuff when I visited you and now I think I would advise you and Lee and friend J start building an ark!!! That's a LOT of water going by there. Stay safe dear ones, saty dry. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Yep the ramp where we came off the bridge when we picked you up is under water. The murals on the Kentucky side have water on them. The park with the glass hexagon under water. We live at the pinnacle we are very lucky when the mighty Ohio floods.

OMD - I can see it in my mind's eye... oh boy... I'll send some POTP to Nati City and for those who will be directly affected by this wetness... Yxx
DeleteWe keep hearing about all the flooding. Seems odd for the winter. We hope you will not have any negative impacts from the flooding.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
Most of the time Nati City has it great floods in the winter. January 1937 being the whopper.

How are things in North Houston? You can make a water slide into second base.
ReplyDeleteWell US Bank Arena the area I showed you in the video last night with Kruz today he would need scuba gear. That area totally closed and under 8 feet.
DeleteWills
Be safe dear friend. We hope the water recedes soon.
ReplyDeleteYikes! Guess I won't complain bout da puddles here.

ReplyDeleteI would send you some of our sunshine, butts it'll be gone the next couple of days. Stay dry my furiend!

And I thought it was bad here..there are roads closed and some ar washed out. There is a sign on hte interstate to the next exit, not to take it, because you will find the road closed. The hospital is in that area, and they had to divert the ambulances to other ER's. We are OK here, as we are quite high, but the underpass close to pawppy's office was totally under water on Friday.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are safe, though those detours to stay dry can be annoying...soon in the summer we will be complaining about drought conditions, BOL!
oh nooo... we are so sorry for your Nati.... and there is so muich hoistory and so much things what are unique ... we hope that nothing will be lost in that flood.... hugs to you and to all good peeps and pets of your town...
ReplyDeleteStay safe guys.
ReplyDeleteSo sad to see so much flooded. I hope you both stay safe. How did the school fair that build next to the river?
ReplyDeleteWater is totally up to the top of the school stilts. The road in front is totally closed all the way. In http://sweetwilliamthescot.blogspot.com/2013/12/my-ears-are-ringing.html
Deletewhere Wills is sitting next to the big bell well that is all under water. Yep Verdin Bell is closed.
When we showed the WWII Battleship well that ship would be at street level now because the water has closed that road.

Less say today is the 103rd day of January not April 13th. We have rain then snow then ice then rain then wind. It is warm today but the wind is so strong it rolls Wills when he goes out.

ReplyDeleteSorry we’re late coming to the show, but we’re hoping that those waters have now receded!
ReplyDeleteHello you two. We have moved and finally have internet..... just wanted to see how things are for you both. I am very busy at the moment supervising the garden and the pup next door who has loads of potential to be trained by me. Love to you both Pea
ReplyDeletePea, I got your e-mail on May 14 telling me about your pet kangaroos. I have tried twice to e-mail you back but the e-mail bounces back that it cannot be delivered. I think of you often. Glad you traveled well.

Very intermittent internet coverage but now seems to be fixed. I now have a new pet. An endangered rock wallaby and her baby who sometimes gets out of the pouch
DeleteHi there! Katie and I were thinking about you this morning so we thought we'd pop over and check on you. We hope all is well! We are still in Alabama, trying to get back north next week, but we have a tiny bit of car trouble. At least this time we have a nice air conditioned house to wait in!
