One Of My Favorite Things

Mariemont is one of the nation's most walkable communities. I love going down my hill and driving the four miles to the Square.

Founded in the 1920s Mariemont is a planned community. Mariemont exhibits English architecture from Norman to classic Georgian style. The village square serves as the community center. Mariemont also has one of the few elected Town Criers remaining in North America. It has several nice small parks and a carillon, I will show you those later.

    OOOOOH. Sweet William, that ice cream place looks and sounds divine! What flavor did Lee get for you? And what a pretty town! Maybe you can also post some photos of the architecture for our mama.

    Oh I love ice cream! And thank you for watching for me to fly over Cin-Cin-ati! I'Sick changed direction so I guess maybe I won't be flying after all. But I'm saying lots of prayers for those now in the path of I-Sick!

    Wonderful looking town, can't believe you were so patient to get the ice cream buddy, me and bites would have gone off the deep end just sitting there, can you Fed Ex some to us, or maybe we get a box and ship ourselves to your place.

    Hey William the first thing my mom thought when she saw the pictures was the village they lived in germany...it kinda made her a little homesick..you know how they always had walking day on sundays!
