Oh my there is a person inside watching Lee take the picture!
Well Lee did more than window shop she bought the chair. Then she went and got paint chips so she could paint an old piece of furniture she has that looks similar that exact yellow. Lee then will distress the furniture and apply wax to age it more.
Lee always has trouble picking lamps. Lee only likes old odd lamps.
The tulips painted on the window look so cheerful and bright.
In the shop everything is artisan and somewhat 'girly' in it's fashion.
We are going in.
We are going in.
Lee gets her sketching pens here.
Not that big though!
They had these cool graphite pens so she stocked up.
Lee finished painting this on an old secretary that had a bad scar on the wood that needed to be disguised. You would never know how badly damaged it was with wood filler, sanding and painting all looks pretty again.
Maybe the piece she is going to paint yellow might get flowers also.
Lee is starting her sketch for this years totes. Lee gave three full totes away last year in her Name That Song Contest. Lee has not decided if the lady will wear pants or a skirt. Should the lady be walking a Scottie or an Airedale Terrier? Scottie I say.
It is my job to just sit and watch while Lee paints and draws. Boring!
Lee is always sad this time of year. Her beloved scottie, Half Pence, was born in April and had to go to the bridge nine days before his birthday. Maybe some day she will tell you how very special her Half Penny was and about the bond they shared and still have. Not even death could break their bond.

DeleteMiniSkirt ~ Ahh I like that name. I bet she was a sweetheart.
DeleteSWTS & Lee
Perhaps Lee might consider a wire haired fox terrier for her lady's walking companion.
ReplyDeleteJust saying...
Thanks for telling us about Half Pence. A priceless dog surely, despite the name.
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
WHOA!! That Lee is one talented peep. First, I love that chair she bought. Second, I think that lady she's drawing IS BEE-YOU-TI-FUL!!!! And, of course, she needs to walk a SCOTTIE!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAroOOO, Stuart

Two votes for scotties here...and one for a spotty. We like Airedales, too. So you can't count on us for a firm decision.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
I agree on the scottie. Your Mom is so talented. I love the flowers on the desk. Mommy was lucky enough to win a tote last year and she uses it for shopping all the time.
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
That's a lot of shopping. Your Mom sure does have a lot of talent!
ReplyDeleteThat flower u painted to cover the scratch is pawsome. You r talented.
ReplyDeleteOkays, I guess I'm alone in voting for the AIREDALE!!!!! Okay, I gots that outta my system....
ReplyDeleteI guess a Scottie is okays, too. It is a terror after all! I'm so sorry abouts Halfpence. It really is a hard time of year, I'm sure. Gives your peeps lots of wet beard kisses...that always makes the peeps jump for joy!
Oh, and I LOVED the job your Moms did on the desk!! Wow. very cool!
Kisses,
Ruby
Lee is very talented! Holy cow! I think the lady should be wearing a Scottie. Seriously, an Airedale? We hope Lee is ok - it's hard remembering our loves. After all, no one will love you like a dog loves you.
ReplyDeleteAlyssa, Mr. Fox & Scruffy
We do not like to hear that your Lee is feeling sad Sweet William. Please give her extra licks and love from us, ok?
ReplyDeleteMom just loves those tulips on the shop window. We can't wait to see what Lee's next batch of totes are going to have on them - we of course vote Scottie!
Wally & Sammy
Thinking of your peep, we know what she's feeling at the moment...
ReplyDeleteRingy-dingy one...Ringy-dingy two...Hello Sir William! Your Lee is very talented but I imagine that is because you provide proper oversight to the talents. I say the lady should be walking a Scottie...what other choice is there, really?
