National Bandana Day

Look Look Look it says Sweet William The Scot and it is addressed to my post office box.
Why it says from South Africa.  I know who this is from, why it is Sammy & Wally.
They are truly wonderful dogs.

Lee are you seeing everything that they packed into this box.
Why there are dog treats and peep treats.  Lee they sent you more tea and three bags of treats to munch on.  The card says their Mom loves these treats.

Look there is a key chain that looks like me.  But you know what they sent us the 2015 Sunflower Bandana which raises money for The Sunflower Fund.  It supports peeps diagnosed with life threatening blood disorders.  Yep Lee and Sammy & Wally's Grandpa have the same blood disorder.  So The Sunflower Fund is very important to us.  Please consider getting tested to be a bone marrow donor.
Thank You Sammy & Wally.

Thanks for being a  friend
Traveling down the road and back again
Your heart is true and your a friend of  mine

Sweet William The Scot

Do you think I might be on the Titanic.  They said all women to the lifeboats!
What about us dogs?
Well stop by next week to find out what mighty vessel in history I'm on.
Just sit right back
And you'll hear a tale
A tale of a fateful trip

Anyone got a life jacket.
Psssssssss ~ My Lee is having knee surgery  for a Meniscal tear and a torn Medial Collateral Ligament on the 20th.  It snapped when she fell off the wharf into the Ohio River on our Nina & Pinta adventure.
Lee says it is a miracle that we were able to do this three hour tour.

  1. What a lovely gift. Our Lady had that surgery in 2004, it isn't too bad. We hope it goes well for Lee.

    1. If not for the courage of the fearless crew
      The Minnow would be lost!
      WRONG
There were over 6,000 of these ships and the one I was on is one of the last remaining.
I went down every passageway, ladder, hatch till I found the Galley. Some of the places we went up Lee had to carry me. It was a scramble.

OMD... I did think it would be a miracle to get away 'scot free' from such a fall (ahem... sorry bout that)... best wishes and POTP from this side of the big water.

You certainly scored on the postage front.... Rooibos is one of my faves and SW, you'll love the munchies. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

    1. Most certainly a dive off of the high diving board with a crack to the knee from the wharf. If it had been a short distance my Wills would have jumped also.

  8. What a splendid gift bag. But Sweet William, dear friend, do steer clear of the Titanic! Lee will need you to give her comforting, gentle cuddles when she has had her surgery. Paws and fingers crossed here that it all goes well.
    Toodle pip and cheers!

  15. Hope that Lee's knee will no longer be so bum...its got to be hard to have the constant reminder of a fall or other indignity to ones person. I know you are taking good care of her, Sweet William!

No idea what ship you are on...

    1. Indignity, why what are you talking about Mr Freckles. My Lee did a beautiful swan dive into the Ohio. I was of proud of her, why she hardly made a splash and she popped right up. If you survive there is no indignity.
