Art Works

Well Lee and I, Sweet William The Scot, were driving along and we noticed the light came on indicating a train was coming overhead.  We looked up and saw Art Works had used the train trestle bridge as a frame for paintings.
Why they painted the top of a painted lady house, a couple, the corner street sign, then a picture of three painted ladies and more community people.  They used the trestle to frame each picture.
How neat is that?

I got this Valentine from my gal Bella.
Yep love is all you need.
Bella sent me a magnet.
The post office must have sent it through a machine and  broke the magnets head off.
The card was all wet, you can see the scottie imprint on the card.
I told Bella Lee could fix the problem and look she glued it back together and gave it a pretty collar.  Now it is on our refrigerator.
We have been busy planting Phlox along our wall that had to be rebuilt then mulching.
Twelve plants in all, in three different colors.
The wall had to be sealed ~ so now one wall has two coats of sealer and the other wall has one coat and needs its gloss coat and the job will be done.
Lee just moves slow these days.

And finally I am sending this out there in hopes one person sees the quote.
It is called  On Thinking Independently.
You're neither right nor wrong because people agree with you.
You're right because your facts and your reasoning are right.

Thanks for being a  friend

  1. I like this kind of art very much. And that is better than the scribbles some people do with spray cans. Yay that the valentines card found the way to you... even when the scottie was beheaded, your Lee fixed that very well :o)

    1. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of. In the past I think Lee has met you. Phychology major I do believe.
Lee has devoted many hours to the mentally ill.

  7. That Bella is a special kind of gal. The art work is beautiful and I like how they framed it. As for the quote, if you're a Scottie you're always right even if you're wrong. Here's hoping you have an AROO kind of day!

    Aroo to you,
    Sully

  10. We really liked that art also, it would probably distract our mom to the point of other cars behind her honking and honking telling her to get a move on. We love Lee's flowers, and my mom knows how tired she must be when she works in the yard, mom struggles with that also. We are sending you big ole puggie hugs today....beautiful magnet. stella rose and momma

  19. That art on the bridge is really nice. Yes, so much nicer than all that ugly graffiti we see nowadays.

Great quote. More peeps should take it to heart.

Pretty spring blooms you have there, and yes growlmy fur sure gets it about yard chores, be they hard work like mowing grass, or puttering in flower beds...it all spas her energy, just and much worse if its too warm fur her taste, like more than 75, BOL!
