Hair, flow it, show it

Lee and I, Sweet William The Scot, went to the Farmer's Stands.
Every community has one.
We got a half dozen fresh ears of corn.
Lee told me to go and shuck the corn while she boiled the water.
We sing a lot around our house when we work.

WAIT ONE MOMENT!
Hair lyrics say "Give a home to the fleas in my hair!
That is just not right!!!
We always buy our corn at the Snyder Stand. For nineteen years we visit him every Saturday morning during the Summer.  He always smiles when he sees me coming.  He calls me Wee Wiggle Butt because I give him the friendly wiggle.  He grows the best corn and it changes because in each of his fields he grows a different variety.
Two elderly brothers run this stand and we buy their squash and peppers.
We get our tomatoes from another man that grows Heirloom and Yellow Tomatoes.  He brings wonderful flower bouquets.
All summer long we eat fresh produce.
We got this beautiful card from our special friends Stella Rose, Maggie Mae and Angus aka Gussie.
They are special because they have caring hearts.
The message meant so much to us.
The front has beehive embossed paper with little bees.  We love the color and little pearls.
We have been very sad lately.
It sure made our day brighter.

 Happy Labor Day

Well as they say in show business, that's a wrap folks.

Thanks for being a friend
Traveling down the road and back again

I am glad that the card made your mom and you feel better. Best of prayers sent to you both that your heart is light and sunlight shines on your path.

    1. Bentley did you Mom know that corn silk contains proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. It also contains chemicals which might work like water pills and help reduce inflammation. It cannot hurt you. Why it is even in makeup. And best of all I have fun shaking it.

  18. Ringy-dingy-dah-doo...oh, that corn silk makes a wonderful hairdo! Are you channeling Marilyn Monroe?!? BOL Wow! You get a lot of fresh produce there. That must be nice. Our farmers' markets don't have a whole lot of stuff in the summer...it is too hot to grow things here then. In the fall, we will have tomatoes and such...and of course, oranges. But our oranges are for juicing...they are ugly looking but sweet as sugar on the inside.

I did not know you and your Lee have been down lately, Sir William. I am sorry to hear that. If there is anything I can do, you just bark real loud!

Many thanks for the card William, it reminds me a little of the DIY-disasters in my house, butt this doggies are much more talented than my staff hehehehe
