Yesterday was my birthday! I am a year older now ~ how did that happen in one day?
Well the sun is out today. But I, Sweet William The Scot, have major work to do.
Yep the Duke crews worked into the night to restore power to us.
Ten hours to get my lights back.
My hood was hit Tuesday with straight line winds. Hail that beat holes in all my flowers.
Trees went over like match sticks.
Piles of debris are stacked at the curbs.
Our backyard.
Where is my fence?
Yep my fence is under here somewhere.
These trees sat on the property behind my yard. They were on that steep hill I tried to climb when I came home by myself when Lee was in Rehab.
Have a safe 4th of July!
We will be back Thursday for the Rodeo.
I am the Official Rodeo Announcer.
Thanks for being a friend

Stay safe. It looks like a war zone. The upside is that you're eliminating squirrel habitat.
ReplyDeleteLee forgot to tell you yesterday was my Birthday. I am six now.

Oh no. That is a very bad storm. We are glad you are safe, but are sad to see so many trees are gone.
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Birthday, Sweet William!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an ugly mess, but happy to know you are safe...with power even.
Poor trees nevfur stand a chance with winds like tat. We had a bad storm here a couple weeks a go and not only trees came down, but steeples and roofs were taken off churches and a farmer lost most or all of his dairy operation, including many cows...so sad.
I am happy that you are well and me and my furmily know you will enjoy a furbulous and Happy Independence Day!
...Growlmy has to go to her work...sigh...
Happy Day after your Birthday Sweet William!
