Rodeo Announcer Sugar Billy At The Microphone

I HAVE TAKEN DOWN THE MUSIC THAT WENT WITH THIS POST Garth Brooks – Rodeo
BLOGGER IS GIVING ME TROUBLE IN GOING TO MY READERS FEEDER.
Helloooo Blogville
I'm your DJ Rockin Wills The Music Professor on the scene.
Usually I am down at the HOWL radio station live on the air spinning the vinyl. That is Non Serious Radio Station Howl at 469.5 on your dial.
But today I'm here at the thing they call, rodeo.  I am your announcer for this event.  Why since they roped me into this gig yesterday and being around this arena they have  given me the name Sugar Billy.    It's the roar of a Thursday crowd you hear in the background.
Madi is making sure all riders are safe.  Why she is "Down Like a Rodeo Clown"!
Yes folks we have a Rodeo going on.
Coming into the arena first we have the Barrel Racing hosted by the Doods.
Lets see you ride a 1200 pound muscle machine at full speed turning barrels on a dime and still keeping your balance.
Generally, you ain't learnin' nothing when your mouth's a-jawin' so stop talking and turns your eyes to this event.
Oh we are going to be seeing a lot of Cowdogs and Cowkitteneste landing flat in this next event.
I see they are hearding the bulls into the pens for the Bull Riding Event and Casey is down in the area.
I, Sugar Billy, say never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear or a fool from any direction.
STOP WAVING THOSE RED FLAGS IN THE GRANDSTAND!
Well, it's bulls and blood ~ It's dust and mud ~ I can see white in his knuckles.
It's this damned old rodeo.

Whitley has her Saloon open now for those who want to toss back a few.  Sugar Billy says if you are not drinking at Whitley's
remember to drink up stream after this event because a herd of animals branded by Sarge is leaving Blogville.
Up next we are going to see the kitties and pupsters
having some fun. It is the Mutton Brushing Event with Mabelene.  Wait Mabelene is yelling something.  Mabelene is saying it is Mutton Busting, well why would you want to bust a mutton?
Those riders are going to be busting their britches I say.
Well we all got pieces of crazy in us, some bigger pieces than others. Just Sayin Frankie and Ernie fit the bill because they are down with the Broncos.  Talking about bills did you know the quickest way to double your money is to fold it over and put it back into your pocket.
If you get thrown from a horse, you have to get up and get back on, unless you landed on a cactus; then you have to roll around and scream in pain.  Yep the horses stop with a jerk-- and the jerks are falling off!
Sugar Billy sees the Chuck Wagon rolling in Ziggy and Angel Sasha are stirring the
biggest pot of beans I have seen.
Always take a good look at what you’re about to eat.
It’s not so important to know what it is, but it’s critical
to know what it was.  They always serve the best vittles.
They are yelling in my ear that Jack is down by the riders in the Trick Riding Event.  They are saying it's boots and chaps, it's cowboy hats it's spurs and latigo, it's the ropes and the reins that is going to keep these riders sane. Don’t squat with your spurs on!
It's the squirrels and the blood
It's the steers and the mud
And they call the thing rodeo.
I see some dust coming from behind the grandstand and I have just been handed a note telling me Ruby has let go a big bag of squirrels for the Squirrel Roping Event.
Every pupster and kitteneste be careful leaving the grandstand and remember Dory is forming a line for the line dancing that is going to become a square dance and maybe we will get fancy and even do a Scottish Triangle.

Now don't forget over on the big stage YAM-aunty has those pupsters and kittenestas want- to- be cowpokes singing their woeful country songs and reading poetry.  I heard Bertie has a filibuster.
Oh and I, Sugar Billy, have one last thing to say before we close the barn door on this event ~
WHO LET THE DOGS OUT!
"Do what you want, dig what you do, 'cause that's what life is all about"
Signing Off

Sweet William The Scot

Next time I will show you pictures of all the dogs at the 8th Annual Dog Day of Summer.
